I just love your magazine and really appreciate all the hard work that
goes into every incredible issue – it’s like Christmas for me when I
see that decorated envelope in my mailbox. Thanks so very much for
everything… ~ He Seon Ihn, California

I am pouring through all the past issues of ARTitude,
experimenting with the great ideas and projects. I am also a saver.
Flea market finds and garage sale items are taking on new lives as
art. I love every issue. ~ Denise O’Connor, Minnesota

Hi, I wanted to let you know that I received my copy last week and I
am, as always, thrilled with the whole issue. You've done it again.
It is inspiring to see so much creative energy in such a small space.
Thank you for all your efforts. ~ Linda Mondloch, Washington
|
I am just finishing the the fairy issue.......LOVE it. You two are so
talented. God really, really blessed you in the "special" department.
Your mag and your website etc. are a huge source of fuel for me.
Thanks..........for sharing with all of us.......~ Julie Coash,

ARTitude is my bible. I have every issue and yes, they are
worn, dog eared to death, crumpled and shabby but they are soooo
loved. The art, the articles, Helga's altered book class, Suz's
column.....it is the best magazine out there. I would really urge any
of you...if you don't get ARTitude...run to the computer..wait,
I mean, stay where you are...go to
www.artitudezine.com and order all
the back issues or at least get the subscription. Helgs and Suz put a
free collage sheet in every zine and they are totally cool. I loved
getting the back issues cause in the beginning they were in black and
white. As time went on they were more and more colorful. It was like
watching a baby grow. ~ Mary Haldeman, California
|
Your zine does wonders for my soul!
Again, thank you ~ Kathy Brady, Texas
|
OH MY GOSH where have you and your wonderful zine been all of my
artful life? I love it! It is so user friendly and the articles are
great! I loved the one about the narrative journaling and am already
planning my journal. Keep up the wonderful work and when life slows
down a tad, I think I will send some meager burnt offering to lay at
the master's feet! ~ Bev Hochstetler, Indiana

I just received my Spring 2005 Issue of ARTitude and it’s wonderful.
Yes, spring time is the right time to spruce up the zine and you both
did a great job. I love it. And I felt my imagination run wild as it
does when I see all the artwork on the pages. Not only do I love
seeing it in color but the artwork itself was so colorful and bright,
it shined off the pages. I love that you sprinkled the color pages
throughout the zine. I love the articles especially the one on
procrastination, I recognized myself there. Thanks for that one! And
two spotlights on the artists, Cathy Mendola and Stacie Rife, yes, I
always wonder what they are thinking about when they sit down to
create their art. It’s wonderful that I can learn their secrets and
that they are so generous to share it with your readers. That said,
the articles that explained the artwork of Silver Moon and Michelle
Perkett were fabulous. And the Body Art by Ms. Watts – cool.
I have always
enjoyed ARTitude and will enjoy it all the more with the wonderful
changes you have made. That said, I feel inspired and ready to make
art, good or bad, it’s my art and I embrace it.
Enclosed please
find my check for renewal of ARTitude, I can’t miss it.
Thank you for
all your hard work and creativity, it flies off the pages. ~ Carol
Mollica, Illinois

I'm on vacation and while traveling to Oregon from California, through
miles and miles of lush green hills, I devoured every word of the
Spring 2005 Issue of ARTitude. Thanks for the fun that keeps getting
better and better even though I thought it was the best at the very
beginning. ~ Vivian Montre, California

|
I don’t know what I would do without your fabulous zine. You two (and
of course, James!) – along with the amazing artists you feature and
all the astonishing art that graces the pages of ARTitude have truly
changed my life. I can’t thank you enough.
I haven’t had a chance to do more than quickly breeze through Issue
#16 but I want you to know I already LOVE the extra color pages! Great
move (literally) on the new placement of the collage sheet. Thank you!
Just when I didn’t think you guys could get any better, you go and
raise the bar….yippee!
Thank you again for entertaining, challenging and inspiring me. You
guys are the best!
Fondly ~ Amy Greving, Nebraska

I love your magazine and wait for it to come. We have so few magazines
in our area that pertain to the types of art that I do. I like all the
images that are copy-free. I continue to read and reread old issues,
and dream. Thank you for the hard work and dedication for love of art
that goes into this publication for the rest of us to enjoy. ~
Barbara Anheluk, Oregon

I just received my 10 back issues and I don’t know where to begin to
read. I’m so pumped I can’t
STAND
it!
Thanks so much! Gotta go…. I need to go phone in sick to work for the
next 3 weeks….

I received my magazines about a week ago and I just wanted you to know
that they are awesome. I am devouring each one and I have promised
myself that I will read slowly even though the excitement for the next
one is unbearable. Thanks again and cannot wait until the next issue.

Love it Love it Love it!
Adore the visual table of contents...just
brilliant!
Articles are top-notch...as always...
Clip art pages are oh so user friendly.
And I am in awe....just the right amount of inspiration and
instruction...a hard line to walk (or skip).
Well done girlfriends...yet again! ~ Leslie Dean, Illinois

|
I savor every article and every image of your publication. I am
juiced up and inspired every time I curl up with an issue. I hope to
contribute in the future as your themes are always inspirational and
creative. Sincerely ~
Donna Koepp, Nevada
|
I am a HUGE fan of your zine...it is one of my greatest inspirations.
Your articles and projects ooze with "joie de vivre et l'amore
d'arte" (why does that sound so much better in French?) and I most
love how every page makes art seem so friendly and approachable, no
matter what the media, whether altered books, art quilts, metal
working, stitchery, beading, etc, etc., etc.!!! I have always been an
artist who dabbles in a bit of everything, gets bored with the same
old techniques, always wanting to try something new, so I love
experimenting with all the incredible ideas you present in each
issue. Thanks and keep up the good work! ~ Cybele Flematti,
Massachusetts
|
I would like another year of your wonderful zine. I think I learn more
useful information and get more creative ideas from your publication
than from all the other artsy magazines combined, and I’m a real
magazine addict. ~ Brenda Waddle-Lynn, Canada

Wow, Wow, Wow, and did I say Wow! I received my first ARTitude
Zine, and it was above and beyond any of my expectations! Your
artistic talents even flow in your writing styles! After I read the
zine from cover to cover, I proceeded to make cards out of each image
on the free collage sheet. After I had used each one of the images, I
went back to re-read the zine. Well, low and behold, there is my
husband, Dale, with my beloved zine in his hands! Well, not wanting
to rip it out of his hands rudely, I went off and pouted for a while.
When I saw him leave the living room empty handed, I quickly ran back
in to find my zine. Well now here is my 6 year old daughter looking
at the zine! She was thrilled with Pablo in his hats, and was ready
to find the camera to take pictures of her cats so she could put party
hats on them! Well, not wanting to stifle any artistic influence your
zine may have for Hazel, I once again left the zine in the hands of
another. I finally got my hands on it again, and have read it from
cover to cover a couple
more times! You
girls ROCK! I can't wait for the next issue! ~ Judy Evitts,
Michigan
|
My heart is pounding with excitement whenever I open the pages of
ARTitude. Thank you! Best wishes ~ Miyuki Yano, Japan

I just wanted to let you know that I received my first issue! I just
love it! Every time I open it, I fine some new thing. It is so much
fun! Thank you!
~ Maureen Bergman, New Jersey
|
I love the [complete back issue set of] zines! I am in a small piece
of heaven tucked in with hot tea and my imagination is soaring! Thank
you! ~ Carmen Young, California

I just had to drop you a note to say how you still continue to amaze
and delight me. I originally found your zine late last year. I have
purchased the back issues of your incredible publication ARTitude
and poured over each one with joy. You make art approachable and easy
again like when we were kids. Every project is joyful. Every project
brings new hope and endless opportunities. Wheeeee! We are free once
again to express ourselves, and through that you have renewed our
creative spirits. There is not the pressure to make an artsy statement
or create something that is too incredibly perfect, just to-----make
art, oftentimes in the nooks and crannies of everyday life. I think
that is a wonderful message and I send kudos to you hard working women
for bringing your vision and passion to your many readers. I am also
impressed with your level of excitement as I read the editorial which
begins each issue. You always sound just as excited as the artists
themselves to introduce each new issue and the treasures it holds.
You ladies should be very proud of yourselves and your fantastic zine.
It is truly a work of ART! (with a little attitude thrown in for good
measure!) Best Regards! ~ Jennifer Zernzach, Illinois
|
Love your zine! Just got my first issue. Can't wait for the next. You
combine some great "how-to's" with beautiful artwork and fun articles.
Something for everyone! Thanks ~ Joyce Owen, Kansas
|
Love your magazine. I go back and learn new things every time I read
them! Thanx ~ Linda Smiggen, New Mexico
|
Thanks for all the hard work you put in on ARTitude - it is always
like opening a treasure chest and running my hands through jewels to
get my issue and look through the art and articles. Best ~
Miranda Hempel, New Jersey
|
I await each issue more than eagerly. In fact, my husband waves it
triumphantly when one arrives! Thanks again for all the lovely hours I
spend reading and re-reading but most of all doing because of the
ideas and sharing. ~ Karen Mangum, Washington
|
Have received my new issue and as always FANTASTIC. More than any
other magazine or fanzine I subscribe to, I get most excited when I
see ARTitude in my mail box. Just want to thank you for all the joy
and inspiration you have given me. XOXOXOXOXOXOXXOXO ~ Joanne
Dennis, Michigan

I love your zine! It has so many great techniques and much
inspiration. Thanks so much. I know it is a lot of work, but I can see
the love you put into it. ~ Wei-Li Huang, Texas
|
I wanted to plead with you to make sure to continue with Helga's
Altered Book Workshop. It's my favorite thing in the entire 'zine!
Your articles are, in my opinion, far better than all the books and
booklets that are about. ~ Jeannine Bradley, Tennessee
|
Well I received my Spring 2004 zine and it's wonderful as usual.
I've just been with you a year but that's long enough to find out you
2 are super!!!! I just wish you were out every month cuz I can hardly
wait that long. It's not easy!!!!!!! Don't ever stop being funny and
inspirational to the artist in all of us!!!!!!!
~ Gloria Brown-Mohave Valley, Arizona

ARTitude never fails me, I love and cherish each issue I have! ~
Sylvia Luna, Arizona
|
I want to thank you for your wonderful ARTitude Zine that has really
inspired me with its interesting articles and fabulous artwork. I find
myself constantly referring back to it. Thank you also for giving me
the confidence to send my work out into the world and not fear what
others will think of it. I used to think that others would laugh if I
told them I'm an "artist", but not anymore. You've given me the
confidence to believe in what I do. Here's to many more years of
flexing our Artitude!! ~ Kim Thuleweit, Florida
|
I subscribed to a lot of publications last year (after being
transplanted from Southern California to South Florida). This year I
had to trim subscriptions but I will absolutely be renewing my
ARTitude Zine subscription - it is my favorite magazine. Thanks for
all the inspiration! ~ Jeannine Peregrine, Florida
|
I wouldn't want to miss an issue - thanks for making life fun! ~
Kathy Kenney, Ohio
|
Thank you. Your wonderful zine arrived this AM. I will spend rest of
the week slobbering over all the super fab ideas, projects and
pictures!!!!. Thank you. I will be subscribing again to this great
(second to none) zine.
~Bambi doe Blake, New Mexico
|
I just wanted to drop you a note to say how very (VERY) pleased I was
with the set of back issues of your ARTitude magazine I purchased.
Thank you for your wonderful magazine. I have spent endless hours
already pouring through it, dreaming about more art projects and
reconnecting with that part of me that my mom used to encourage every
day. Being grown up shouldn’t mean you don’t have time for art,
because as you know, ladies, it really is food for the soul. For the
last few months I have been in a massive creative funk. I go out and
buy tons of art supplies but the end up putting them all away unused.
Safe to say, thanks to all the encouragement and step by step advice I
found in your magazines, that won’t be happening anymore!! Thank you
for all that you do! ~Jennifer Zernzach, Illinois
|
Each issue of ARTitude is a mega gift filled with creativity, fun, and
inspiration. Your love of art, your desire to share knowledge, your
great sense of humor, and your dedication is so appreciated. Thank you
very much for ARTitude.
~Pam Coffman, Florida

OK...my mail lady thinks I am certifiably nuts now. I just happened to
be outside when she delivered my back issues. I couldn't control
myself and it is somewhat a blur but I know I was doing some kind of
weird dance with the package on my head chanting "They're here,
they're here." Geez. I was so happy. I made a pot of lovely Godiva
coffee, lit my favorite Votivo candle and gently opened Issue 1 like
it was some kind of ancient scroll I had discovered. When I saw the
picture of you proudly holding up your precious little picture and Suz
with Grandpa Kenny I smiled from ear to ear. And so I read on...and
on...and on. As I savored every word and looked thru issue 2 I felt
like a proud Auntie watching her baby grow. I would encourage each and
every one of your subscribers to order them all. You and Suz have a
wonderful way of making your readers feel like they are part of the
family and having all of the issues makes me feel even more connected.
All of the issues are just fabulous. I love the stories, the ideas,
the art, EVERYTHING!! I know I am just one subscriber/ fan but I just
wanted to congratulate you both and to thank you a zillion times over
for Artitude. You are a class act. ~Mary Haldeman, California
|
Got the new ARTitude yesterday and cannot
put it down. You guys just
make that zine better and better every quarter. What would I do
without it???? ~Jill Steffey, North Carolina
|
I was absolutely thrilled to see my
artwork on your website!! Then when I received your Winter issue I saw
one of my pieces in your zine!!! I was giddy!
I'm completely and totally inspired by your publication. I can't say
enough good things about it. I'm telling everyone I know about it and
telling them
to visit your website. I feel like I finally have validation as an
artist. Your zine has given me the courage to finally do the type of
artwork I've had inside me for years. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.~Cathy
Mendola, Georgia

I don't even know how to start this e-mail....and be forewarned I'm a
bit prone to sudden outbursts today...I LOVE the Autumn Issue. I ADORE
the site. I CHERISH the links...which lead me to more links...and more
links...and...(pant, pant, pant..) I am supposed to be working damn
it! I mean these people actually expect me to focus and produce for my
wages...All I can think of is rushing home to try ten different
projects I've scribbled into the small journal in my purse, and like
an art junkie gone mad I'm dying to paint, cut, paste, punch out,
stamp, glue, embellish, tie, twist, mold, bake..... I have not been
this excited about creating in too long. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
~Helen Solle-Conner, Florida
|
ARTitude Zine is the most beautiful
publication I've ever seen. Every issue is a treasure sent from two
very special angels, Helga and Suz. ~Denise Skilone, Pennsylvania
|
After receiving the first issue on my new subscription, I knew I had
to have them all!!! ~Sheila Rodriguez, New Mexico
|
Thank you very much for the great magazine and the creativity it
brings with it, because it looks like you do it from all your heart
with such great love that it inspires me to follow my dreams. ~Tal
Shahar, New York
|
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? Seriously, last week, I got my
first issue of ARTitude Zine in the mail. I have already read it cover
to cover. Not only that, immediately upon reading your altered book
workshop, I sat down and tried one of your ideas!!! It was the book
within a book - where you cut down pages to make a smaller "book"
inside your altered book. I have got to say, I have never read any
magazine or zine that has inspired me more than this. I have never
been reading one moment and frantically running for my glue stick,
book, vintage pics, etc. the next!!!! ~Linda Niehoff, Kansas
|
I would just like to say thanks for such an awe inspiring magazine. I
have read many magazines, and have found it a real struggle to find
one that offers you just EVERYTHING that you want...whether it be from
a supply need to a technique that I'm not sure about. Your magazine
has answered all of those things for me. I can assure you that in the
short time that I have had access to ARTitude Zine I have given all my
copies a good thrashing and they are very dog-eared from being read
and re-read. Once again thanks for the many sleepless
nights.......(good sleepless nights, I might add). ~Jan McCormick,
New Zealand
|
Got the zine yesterday. I really loved it. I don't know how to
thank you for your effort and ingenuity. The zine is in black and
white but your ideas are in full color. Thank you again! ~Miyuki
Yano, Japan
|
I recently subscribed to a few other popular zines about the same time
I subscribed to ARTitude. There is simply NO comparison! ARTitude is
by far my favorite. You include great articles and COLOR photographs
(THANK YOU!). This makes everything much more enjoyable for me -- I
can actually SEE what the project looks like -- Can I tell you how
frustrating it is to squint through a 20-page zine because you can't
make out any of the pictures? I'm so grateful that you print yours on
nice paper and in color! I also like the size. Just wanted to say
thanks for all you do. This is a fabulous publication! ~Chris
Cunningham, New York
|
I am speechless. This web site and zine take my breath away, and I
don't have much to lose. Wonderful! ~Jo Ann Alderman Baker, North
Carolina
|
You gals keep up the TERRIFIC work on your zine and please know
you have a life-long customer here!!! Thanks for all the hard work and
SUPER zine! ~Shari Allred, Florida

The Autumn 2003 Issue is just packed full of wonderful articles and
glorious collages/art work, etc. Your spirit prevails in every issue
(classy art, humor, and great instruction)! ~Fran Rees, Arizona
|
I want you to know that I just LOVE your magazine. I feel like I have
found a long lost friend - the artwork and articles are things that I
have always loved but never knew that something organized was out
there and that there were others who enjoyed this type of art. Thank
you for making it possible for people like me to have a creative
outlet. ~Dina Buckey, California
|
I just got your Polka Dots and Moonbeams issue in the mail today.
What fabulous art and inspiration. Each issue is filled with such
great ideas and articles as well as lots of stunning eye candy from
your clever readers. Keep up the wonderful work! ~Marie Otero,
North Carolina

I am just mesmerized by this publication and have almost worn out the
first three I have - WOW!!! - it's awesome! Thank you so much for
putting together such an inspiring creative book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
~Renee Simpson, Texas
|
I love ARTitude Zine! Thanks so much, it is a creative feast!
~Susan Starr, Missouri
|
I have been meaning to write you and let you know how much I enjoy
your zine. It is a wealth of information on how to do certain things.
When I get it in the mail, I am thrilled. It's like going to a weekend
workshop. You know you will gain so much insight on technique. I love
to look at the original ideas people submit to your zine. Don't ever
stop. Us stay-at -home moms/wannabe artists look forward to each
issue. Thanks ~Marilyn Meaux, Louisiana

Your zine is beautiful, fun and creative. What I like best is the
sassy, funky attitude. It’s most refreshing! ARTitude has inspired me
to try new things and grow in my art. Thank you! ~Debbi Chimich,
Pennsylvania
|
All I can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! ARTitude Zine
arrived in my mailbox. I wanted to INHALE it, DIGEST it, ABSORB it,
SOAK my mind in it, ... I have read it so many times I believe it is
becoming part of me at a cellular level! What a great Zine - I am
learning so much already and may even be tempted to enter one of your
challenges! I have joined a round robin art journal circle and will
probably now participate in an art swap!! -- --
ALL BECAUSE OF YOU TWO DARLING ARTCHIX!!! See what a gift you are to
this world?? Thanks again. Rock On!! ~Donna Southwell, Canada
|
I just received my latest ARTitude the other day...I carry it with me
everywhere...when I go out, it's in my bag, and read it again at nigh.
I pick up something new each time I go through it. It so refreshing to
get your zine, thanks for a great zine and helping to spur on my own
creativity! ~MJ, New Jersey
|
I started reading the oldest one (the "Playground" issue) and could
NOT put it down -- so incredibly creative and just plain interesting
reading about all kinds of topics. I woke up from sleep at 4 this
morning and thought about the things I read and just marveled that
there were such wonderfully creative women such as you two doing such
a fabulously creative thing as your zine -- you are truly art chicks!
I just want to curl up at home and savor all the ones I received word
for word the whole day -- but my job is getting in the way of it!
Thanks so so much for blowing me out of the water with inspiration and
wonderment and the affirmation that creating truly is joy. ~He Seon,
California
|
Artitude Zine keeps
me sane. It has opened up a whole new area of creativity in my brain I
didn't know I possessed. It has given me the courage to submit my art,
which I would never have considered before, as a matter of fact I
didn't even know the "art" was in me. The zine is so diverse in it's
topics that there is not a single issue that isn't a "keeper". The
artwork color inserts are fantastic. The articles and the altered book
lessons are great for reference. Thanks Helga and Suz, you brought
something into my life I didn't even know I was missing -- "Art Sight".
Sincerely, ~Patty Cherry, Indiana
|
As a pact to myself, I have re-entered the "art world" after too many
years of not making the time to create. I am approaching my 50th
birthday this year and I promised myself I would make 50 pieces of art
in celebration of a time for me. Your magazine has been my main source
of inspiration. ARTitude gives me permission to explore forms of art
that have been patiently waiting within my soul. You both know how to
push the playful buttons to allow all of us to color outside of the
lines and to explore the possibility of form and feeling in simple,
often discarded objects. Our grandmothers and theirs before knew the
importance of feeding the creative soul when they sat down to make a
quilt together. Our generation of women has the same need and we are
fortunate to have a personal medium like ARTitude to help us gather
together and create. I appreciate the support and encouragement. Most
appreciatively, ~Lisa Cook, Wisconsin
|
Why is ARTitude Zine my favorite zine? Simply because it's the only
one I keep referring back to after weeks and months! Not only do I
actually try out the techniques and projects, the shared artwork also
inspires me to experiment and walk new paths. Last but not least, the
quirky "tone" is very unique and most refreshing. Here's looking to
many more years of ARTitude Zine! ~Belinda Schneider, Germany
|
I'm totally charmed by the zine - it
has its own distinct flavor. They publish loads of examples, how-to's,
suggestions and tutorials, and thanks to this I have advanced my own
art much further than I thought possible - really pushing the
envelope. I didn't know how to make windows in an altered book page
(didn't know I wanted any!) I do now. I didn't know how to make a
brilliant handbag from a cigar box. Now I do.
All the suggestions, projects and topics are totally fresh and very
inspiring. This is a zine that doesn't prompt me to copy a recipe on
how to make a card: it is a zine that encourages me to go forth and
make my OWN art - a rare and valuable commodity. ARTitude deserves to
go from strength to strength. I love the tongue-in-cheek 50s glamour,
the stories, the thought-provoking sections ... a zine to be savored,
slowly, over a large cappuccino. ~Susie Jefferson, United Kingdom
|
I am as new to ARTitude Zine as I am to
altering books, but this publication has made an addict out of me! I
now have three very well-read and loved issues of their magazine, and
I read them when I am tapped for a creative muse. A nurse by vocation,
a student by choice, I often need a stress-busting art session to help
me remember that there is more to life than sick people and books to
crack; there is ARTitude, and there is creative breath from within.
~Andi Mulholland, Wisconsin
|
Put simply, ARTitude rocks! I am crazy about being able to see the
often eccentric, frequently offbeat artwork of Helga & Suz & their
many incredible contributors. The how-to articles are easy to follow
by the novice, yet they are usually for projects intriguing enough for
those of us who feel we already know our way around!
One of my fave features is the Curious Suz "historical" background
article in each issue, featuring subjects such as "Marbles" &
"Rhinestones".
Although I consider myself a proficient altered book artist, I always
find new & funky ideas to try in "Helga's Altered Book Workshop".
But my favorite thing about ARTitude is the sense of humor prevalent
throughout. The capacity to not always take ourselves seriously, to
actually have FUN in our creative endeavors, cannot be emphasized
enough.
This little zine packs a wallop & is a must-have in my art library
reading room!!
~Sarah Fishburn, Colorado
|
I've read my first issue
(spring) so many times in the tub it's falling apart. You guys have
changed my creative life and brought back my muse!!! Thank YOU!
~Sylvia Mahoney, California
|
Girls, just want to Thank You for
making my day!!! I was so excited to find my bad girls issue in the
mailbox today, then when I saw you had added my funky little altered
compact to the gallery-I did cartwheels in the living room...scared
the kids to death ;)!!! Love this issue (only my second) and am
learning so much from both of you. I just want you to know how much I
admire the talent both of you have...together you are the dynamic duo
:) of the art world. Hugs and best wishes. -Carla Naron, Louisiana
|
I have just read Issue #3 of Artitudezine from cover to cover. I was
completely CHARMED by it- it has such a nostalgic and bygone feel
about it. It captivated my imagination and transported me to a warm
and comforting place in my memory- my childhood. There is enough
material here to keep one occupied every day until the next issue of
ARTitude Zine comes out, and the whole creative cycle begins
again. Really, congratulations for putting out such a polished and
professional publication. You are both amazing. -Nicole Landy,
Canada
|
I'm really picky about magazines, being an editor and a former
magazine publisher myself, and I am delighted with every single word
and image in every single issue of ARTitude. As others have said,
there are magazines that make you say "That's pretty" or "That's....
interesting" and then there's your magazine, which makes you say "I
want to MAKE that!" So here I go, to make something. Creative
blessings -Lunaea Weatherstone, California
|
I have to tell you again how much I am enjoying your zine - it's like
an all-night Artfest, slumber party, gab-a-thon. It's hard not to
imagine being surrounded by fellow artists, having a swell time
trying out new and fun techniques. -Teresa Stroud, Kansas
|
Thanks again for
such a fun, creative zine. I love the tone you set. It's like getting
together with a bunch of girlfriends. -Mary
Wagner, Idaho
|
Great zine! I read it cover to cover and it truly brightens my day
(week/month/year is
more like it)! Your lay out is great, and all the
articles and ideas in every
issue are really inspiring! Thanks again ladies, for putting such a
wonderful zine
together and giving us
artists out there inspiration!!!!
-Megan
Whisner
|
The last issue of the zine is fabulous, fabulous. So many wonderful ideas
and such great art - it was a pleasure from beginning to the end, and I
haven't even begun to absorb all the good articles yet. Keep it up, keep
it up - it's the best! -Fast Eyes, Virginia
|
Way coo-lah! (as my 6 yr. old niece taught me! ) !! Web site looks
incredible as usual! It gets me all excited and I consider pitching
everything else and just making art to send you gals! Thanks for setting
my brain to spinning, keep up the great work - I am really thrilled with
what you gals are turning out! Continued best wishes! -Karen Tewers,
California

Thank you for your prompt and very fast service. I was blown away by the
quickness of your e-mail confirmation and then, to find the Mini and
Premier Issue in my mail today was mind blowing. I loved each and every

wonderful! Hats off to you ladies. You did a very fine, fine job. Wishing

I must tell you that
I absolutely love ARTitude.
Your articles are so
informative and interesting
to read and the artwork is great! I look
forward to receiving
it and sitting down all by myself to read and enjoy
it. So glad you and
Suz decided to take the plunge and publish your
zine and I hope you
keep it up for a long, long time. You're both very
talented, creative
and lots of fun to be with!! Thanks for all the work
that you two put into
it to make it so special!

Enjoyed the latest copy of
ARTitude. With other zines I say - That looks
interesting, BUT....
With yours I say - I can do that and then I DO.
